This class is a serious test of my attention span. =\ How do you teach something like this with powerpoint slides, a laser pointer, and a monotone voice?

Evidently, I didn't stay focused for very long. And I was able to draw this only because this is the position he is in most of the time -- that is, pointing at the damn display and blabbing on until he needs to write something on the slides. -_-"

(After class was done this dude was like "wow you found that lecture really captivating eh vigorously taking notes and really paying attention to the prof" ... LOL yeah man, that's exactly it.)

I was hoping I can (finally) finish this today or tomorrow but the lights went out a while ago so I stopped (hence the game talk above) and now I'm not in the mood anymore. SEEEEEEE.... the first time I'm working on this since Jan or Feb (...) Mother Nature decides to mess with me. 'Tis fate.

I keep forgetting to buy that damn blender. DX Next time I go to an art store...!!

Hello to the new people on the flist! Waves. (And uh, bye to the people who deleted their accounts/removed me etc? ;_;) I do believe I was tagged in a few memes during these months. I saw those posts but I didn't remember who or when, so uh... now I'm just going to be pretend I was never tagged, unless you point them out to me again. T_T

As to why I was suddenly inspired to post at 3AM when I have class in about 5.5 hours--beats me! :D This is about 2 weeks old as well nod nod. For the keen people, this is indeed charcoal, and it is indeed my first time using charcoal. I'm sure pros could already see the noobness in using the medium and want to strangle me for butchering charcoal. -hides- I love charcoal though, and I love my textured paper. Definitely something I want to do again! (And I finally got over my fear of varnish. XD ....Uh, sort of.)

As for Yukizora.net, yes I know it's been untouched since November 07 (LOL omg typing it out makes me realize how long it's been...). The first thing I do after school is done (late April) is revamping my site like omg. But for now, you can take a look at treat's newly renovated art site, SMASH! Cookie! :) Revived from a year hiatus wooooooo go Mufffff XD (Wow I can't believe I still remember HTML codes..)

I don't remember doing much art at all in 2007 (is that just me?) but I'm going to make an effort to do more in 2008! Time management is key. -noddles- I am slowly fighting away my art block, but some of it is still here. (E.g. CG block is still here) I've realized that the key for me is to see beautiful things. When I see beautiful things I feel like drawing. This could mean anything. Nature, animation, movie, other's art, and Zack (FFVII). (HE IS BEAUTIFUL T^T flails)

Well, I must say. Realism in watercolours was a bad idea and probably the stupidest thing I've done in a while... I blame Sophia LOL. "I like watercolours better... if you find your watercolours do watercolours, if not then do coloured pencils." YEAH SOPHIE THANKS A LOT. -sits on you-

But it could've been worse I guess. Yayyyy achooey ♥~~~ I'm still emo about CNE though :'(!!! < /3!!!!! Man I was so tired when I came home yesterday... lol

In other news I found my watercolours yes! Also found me gouache paints as well (and a load of other stuff I never used rofl charcoal ahem.) Now I feel so sparkly and ready to do traditional art now. But no realism in watercolours again for a LONG time thank you very much.

I give up. *_* Hahaha... what was I thinking. I need to copy another 200 photos worth of realism practice before I do something ambitious like this. I realized I know nothing about facial proportions. Depressing stuff.

Please don't say it looks like Squall Leonhart without the scar, it will make me cry. TAT;;

Yes, if you're in any NANA comm, your flist might be flooded with NANA posts just like my flist is. HOWEVER! Today, I chose not to celebrate NANA, but the one true sexiness SE7EN (Jaejoong I still ♥ you D:) Ahem geemsoo unni, a bit support here. LOL. (And also 509am, loveholique, d_oomsday!!!)

This oekaki was meant to be finished today. However, Ochiba ate it twice (fail) and I'm SO addicted to this Chinese show my mom's making me watch so alskdjf;laksjdf might not get finished today. Plus, since Ochiba ate it I lost all my layers so.. it will require some hair pulling to get this done. D:

First post of 2007! Last pic I drew in 2006.. was thinking about the past lol. My (winter) uniform in elementary school, complete with the 红领巾 and 小队长 badge too. Hahahaha. My hair didn't look that nice though, was more guyish lol... Anyway.

School was cancelled today because of a snowstorm!! That's not even the best part. The best part is... there is no snowstorm... LOL. Sure there is snow, but it's not even snowing (hasn't been snowing since morning either) and the snow on the ground isn't even ridiculously high or anything. Buuut I'm not complaining! 8D (Arrr so many phone calls and calling this morning though I woke up at normal class time anyway, boo. >__<)

Today, on my way to the company, I saw these ads. I was really tired because I had to walk in this incredible heat (while cursing my co-op teachers of being incompetent to complete their own tasks), but this one ad brought me such amusement. It said:
